My Leadership Training is through Leadership Kauai.

Life Story

I was born in Kaua’i in 1986. My parents are Charlmaine and Adams Bulosan. I’ve got two older brothers, Adams Jr. and Adrian, and a younger sister Clarissa. My grandparents are Catalino and Castora Suero. My partner is Dr. Nicole Cristobal, and I’m a pet dad to Maile Cristobal.

My schooling started at Immaculate Conception preschool, then at Wilcox Elementary, and then at Kauai High and Intermediate School.

My childhood was defined by the amazing friends I made and the experiences we shared. My family was heavily involved with community service through the Fil-Am Jaycees and Kauai Filipino Community Council in the 1990s. It was common for us to be at beach clean-ups, fundraisers, and supporting causes that made things better for everyone.

High School pushed me into my first passion and career which was music. When I graduated in 2004 I moved to Seattle and attended The Art Institute of Seattle and got a degree in Audio Production. For two years I worked as an Audio Engineer and got to work on the biggest stages in the Pacific Northwest.

Fortunately in that experience, a blessing in disguise happened and I got sick. Chronic debilitating migraines. It took me out of work for months and lead me to a path of trying to solve my health problems through every means possible. This led me to experience Chiropractic care for the first time and the restoration of my health.

In that process, I was inspired and wanted to help others get their life back just like me. I moved to San Francisco Bay Area in 2009 and upon completing my doctorate and post-doctorate degree, I practiced in Daly City until March 2014. Throughout my schooling, I had a deep inner calling of wanting to move back home to Kauai but just didn’t want to unless I had something to give back to the community. That calling was answered by my ability to provide Specific Chiropractic Care and in September 2014, I opened my first practice, The Specific Chiropractic Centers - Kauai.

Upon arriving home every instinctual part of me for community service turned on. In a very short 6 years, I have served on many causes to help our community thrive and I’m constantly being inspired to be more. I have expanded my office to Maui with The Specific Chiropractic Centers - Maui.

I’ve also developed my passion for food through Tasting Kauai, Kauai’s only food tour company supporting local businesses using local ingredients.

My journey of music, healthcare, food, and community service has led me to enjoy a life that I love in a place that I love, Kauai. I live in Lihue with my family and my focus is helping people. What inspired me to campaign for Kauai County Council is the hardships I witnessed throughout the pandemic. I hope that I can help serve my community.

Aloha,
