Wow, thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey. Your time and honest answers are appreciated and will help me gain a new perspective.
Here is the deal. I was born and raised in Lihue, Hawaii and attended Wilcox Elementary School and Kauai High School. My entire childhood and teenage years were spent in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, literally. In my younger days, I was taught to dream big, have big goals, and work hard to make these dreams come true.
During my time living away, every time I introduced myself as being born and raised from Hawaii, people would ask me this general question, "Why did you leave such a beautiful place?!" My response would always be, "to pursue my hopes and dreams. Essentially, to open my wings and fly."
In my travels and teachings, and learning about the world, my understanding of that question and response has changed.
The puzzling aspect is because Kauai is beautiful, bountiful, resourceful and the people are creative, powerful, and intelligent. Wouldn't some of those dreams include traveling back home and growing there?
Are all the higher paying jobs and careers outside of Kauai? Is all the success and happiness outside of Kauai? I don't think so, at all. And that’s when I realized the dream and goal that I have forgotten. My dream and goal of returning to the Garden Isle, with all of my life experiences and lessons and growing old there.
And not just the growing old, but to make an impact on the island so that it will be one of the better places for us to live. I want my generation to want to come back because there are successful careers and opportunities here. I want the generations to come to experience healthy and full lives on Kauai.
So this is why I'm here. In my travels to El Salvador, Brazil, and all over the United States, I have studied and understand a very special type of healthcare that has been helping people get well and stay well. From common health challenges such as chronic neck pain and headaches to more difficult conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.
This is possible because I specialize in the nervous system and utilize a powerful procedure called Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic Care. I am excited and confident that our island can elevate the health of our community and improve the quality of life. I truly hope that in time I will be able to connect with you and share with you this work. I have watched it transform lives, rebuild communities, and create a sustainable future.
Thank you again for doing your part in filling out this survey and I look forward to being of service to you.
